As a result the story of Osman Gazi and Ottomans… He laid the foundations for an Turkish Islamic State that would rule for more than 600 years. The father of the Ottoman State Osman Gazi was born in 1258 in the town of Sogut. His father was Ertugrul Gazi and his mother was Halime Sultan. Osman Gazi was a tall man with a round face, dark complexion, hazel eyes, and thick eyebrows. His shoulders were fairly large and the upper part of his body was longer than the other parts. He used to wear a Horasan crown in the style of Cagatay, which was made of red broad cloth.
Osman Gazi was a brilliant leader. He was fair, brave and gracious. He helped the poor. Sometimes he gave his own cloths to the poor. Every mid-day, he gave a lavish meal to all people in his house.
Osman Gazi was just 23 when he succeeded the leadership of the Kayi Clan in Sogut, in 1281. He was a very brilliant rider and a fencer. He married to Mal Sultana who was the daughter of famous Omer bey. Mal Sultan gave birth to Orhan who succeeded the throne.
After a little silence, Seyh told him:
I have got good news Osman! Allah gave you sovereignty and to your son. All the world will be under the protection of your son and my daughter will be the wife to you.”

Kurulus Osman Season 1: an amazing, engaging, and interesting season. We do have plenty of suggestions in the hindsight saying what if and what not, but the truth of the matter is the theme of the series. The playwright and the direction and production deserves real applaud for making these series for us to watch and be engaged. As I watched episodes, I realised it’s the thread of Islam holding us together from thousands of miles apart. This is a miracle that we come together when Allah’s mention is made and Mohammad Rasool Allah SAWS PBUH seerat is mentioned that automatically bring us to the same field through our hearts. Osmania Empire has left a high impact on the world. It has political, social and Economic effects to the Muslims all around the world. I am an Indian Muslim from the subcontinent of India and grew up knowing, learning about the Sultanate Osmania. The Nizam of Hyderabad Deccan in India we’re close to Osmania Sultanate through marriage. Muslims in India cried tears of blood and helped with money, jewelery and duas when the empire was dissolved in 1924. What I am trying to say is Osmania Empire has always been very close to Indian Muslims hearts. Thanks to Mr. Bozdag for bringing the history to light through his magical production of these series,. Thank You to actors, directors, producers and every one involved for strengthening our Iman Alhamdulillah!

It has come to my attention that they mustaches are not cut according to the sunnah yet the bad people in the series has a proper sunnah mustache. It is inappropriate as this is an Islamic series based on the strong Imaan of the Ottoman Empire yet the way the actors are shown is sending a bad message.

I have never watched any other series as diligently as I have watched these series. It’s obvious that a lot of hard work and perfection has gone into the making of these series. Amazing acting by everyone seen on the screen, wonderful screenplay and GREAT DIRECTION! Thank you very much for bringing our history as close to real as possible. I wish this series of Islamic struggle is available to watch for a long long time to come, for our children, and for many generations to come. I only wish the marriage of Orhan’s mother was also portrayed as per history.

I am one of the faithful fans of Kurulus Osman. Each time I watch a YouTube video about KO Season 2 and they talk about Osman Bey’s second marriage, with Malhun Hatun my heart skips a beat and my heart cries for Bala. I love the character of Bala, such purity of heart, yet she suffers a bad injury at the hands of cursed sarkutey. I can’t bear the thought that Bala must endure so much pain of letting her husband marry another lady. They are hardly married and end up with major troubles. Poor Bala doesn’t get a chance to enjoy her married life, yet season ends and next season her husband will marry another lady. Why this to Bala, please let our producer know as well screen play writer know that we request Osman bey be happily married to Bala. Please don’t Bala go through such pain.

I first was introduced to this drama by first watching Ressurection Ertrugal on Netflix, I watched all of the seasons it was a great drama and I learned so much about the muslim faith and their leadership. I enjoyed watching Ressurection Osman and wish that it also was on Netflix but we watched it on YouTube which was a bit disorganized and was hard to find all of the shows in English and had to miss a couple of episodes since we could not find the episodes all in english. I feel that it would be best shown on Netflix. We completed the Season 1 and am looking forward to Season 2 as soon as possible.

Compared to ertugrul, direction as well as acting of main lead is disappointing … also most of shooting seem to be out doors, either outside tent or outside building, which is so unreal… the main lead seem to possess same expression for every situation, unlike engen’s acting… I would suggest either you redirect season 1 with change in main lead or induce big changes in season 2..

Great series, didn’t expect this to be this good after watching Dirilis Ertugrul bit this one is just as goid as it’s predecessor.
The only thing is, the series is small, should have been bigger. Only 27 episodes in season 1, I think there was enough plot to have many more episodes.
This was the problem in Dirlis Ertugrul as well, longest season is only 30 episodes. I feel that the next season should be “atleast” 32-35 episodes.

Great drama i watched all the episodes of ertugrul series and osman 1 I love it very much and I’m fond of this series but one thing that I don’t like is about the characters which disappear like turgut , Bamsi his son and daughter, Artuq bey , Sawchi brother of ertugrul 2nd wife of ertugrul and many more which is not good and some thing like history tells us turgut fought for Islam for 135 years and also participated any many wars alongside Osman but he disappears after ertugrul series and another thing is about Halima Sultan history tells that Halima died 2 years later the death of ertugrul but in drama she died after giving birth to Osman

Ertugrul was a much better made serial. This somehow seems lacking in story and development of characters. I personally preferred the casting of Ertugrul. The actor who has played the role of Osman doesn’t do justice to the character. I will watch it to see how the series progresses but have already lost interest.
From season 1 to season 2 how many years have lapsed, no mention is made. I hope the remaining episodes/ seasons will be better.

Kurulus Osman. I was totally hooked on the Ertugrul series and saw all five seasons’ episodes twice. Lots of binge watching. Outstanding series! Then came Osman. I had great expectations for this series. In my opinion, the actor portraying this role came across a bit too flashy, but this could have been the true intent of the young Osman. Osman Season 1 was Ok, but a bit slow with too much drama and talking and not enough action. Overall, I enjoyed it. I have now watched the first three episodes of Osman Season 2, and I now see the WOW factor. Season 2 reminds me of Ertugrul’s characters and overall acting performances. Lots of action from the start. Good story line, and I’m glad you kept the same background music. A bit disappointed the real actor portraying Ertugrul didn’t come back to play his role but Ok. New actor is doing a fine job and reminds me of Ertugrul’s dad Suleiman Shah actor. Osman’s character has matured in Season 2, and although I was a bit shock with his new haircut, it works. Keep it going and best of luck for future episodes.

in the last few episodes Bala was asking if she could pick out wives for Osman. I think that seems a little too unrealistic. It would be better If Osman selects a wife of his own. I understand that Bala was from a pious family but Honestly, very few women would be asking to select a wife for their husband even in Ertugruls era. I would like to add that this is a great series with fantastic actors and actresses. May Allah grant all involved continuous blessings and success.

I am from South Africa and I have watched the whole series of Dirilis Ertugrul and now I am hooked on Kurulus Osman. I love both serials but I think my favourite is Osman. The story line is more on motivating and inspiring the world and trying to unite everyone (Muslim or not) and trying to bring about peace and justice, instead of just showing the history side of Osman Ghazi. I have learnt more about who Osman, the father of the Ottoman Empire, really was and learning a few Turkish words has increased my addiction to watch this series.
Thank you to the director and actors for portraying this great series.
Please create more series like these. I would really love to continue seeing how the Ottoman Empire grew from Osman’s state to a world state.

I must say Kurulus Osman Season II is even more intriguing but what I find mystifying is there were so many times when Osman could have gotten killed right on the spot and without hesitation. How he kept alive is beyond me. Also, I was really surprised on how he had so many traitors in his own village/tribe, especially some of the women who were rather devious and evil even. I know this is based on a true story but some of it has to be fabricated because again, though Osman men were great warriors, I can’t believe he risked death all those times. I think Burak Ozcivit is outstanding playing the lead role and the cast ensemble is excellent as well. I’d like to see more of Burak but it’s not just about Osman. I think in this Season II, seeing Burak with a full beard is rather much and covers much of his good looks but we all know how handsome he is. But this Season II, Burak has portrayed his character to perfection. He’s a very commanding actor.

We came across the Dirilis Ertugrul series on Netflix by chance loved watching 5 series, was totally hooked. After the 5th series was over I was still wanting more, and so came across Osman, and have been watching this, great drama I hope the historical events are accurately directed. We really appreciate the efforts in the English translation, without which we would not have understood it and will not have been able to watch it. In this process I have to say my Turkish vocabulary has also improved, but I still can not string Turkish sentence together!

Very well make historical series. Also show case how a leader should be following the values of Islam. Hope the new generation will be able to learn many things if the publicity team of the production house try to come up with some good strategies to catch the audience.

I love this series more than the Ertugrul one and I liked that one as well. I love this one more because the story line was a little better. I watched all of the 548 episodes of Ertugrul with my wife and also the 52 episodes so far of Osman. I have also learned a little Turkish along with it. There seem to be a lot of common words between Urdu and Turksih.
I especially like their spiritual references, Quran, Sunnah etc…

Osman II is an awesome series but lacks the participation of historical characters like Turgat Ghazi and unwanted demise of Abdur Rehman Ghazi. Both of these great men actually fought from shoulders to shoulders with Osman and even with his son Orhan. So omitting these characters from Osman is actually diverting the history which is not understood. So director should reconsider the historical facts to include Turgat Ghazi in Osman especially once conquest of Inegol is nearby

Very good series, gave a good picture of how an islamic empire has got its root in the early days, before it would get spoilt by some of its leaders in the late years of their reign. I have seen episode 55 of the 2nd season. waiting for the next episode…. hope will get them soon.
