Thanks for some other informative blog. Where else could I get that kind of info written in such a perfect means? I have a venture that I’m simply now working on, and I have been at the glance out for such info.

This episode was perhaps the only perfect way to follow up on episode 23. Since one of the show’s primary antagonists fought directly against Osman and met his gruesome death, the episode could technically be considered as the story’s action-oriented climax. Initially, I thought this episode could only go anywhere but up, and yet, that expectation was blown out of the water. If I had to give a comparison to a pair of movies, I’d say that episode 23 was like Avengers: Endgame and episode 24 was like Spider-Man: Far From Home. (If you’re not a marvel fan, this explanation will suffice for you). The former was a highly anticipated installment that removed an antagonist from the remainder of the show and focused more so on action, while the latter displayed both the repercussions from its predecessor’s main events and redefined the conflicts and characters our protagonist must face in the upcoming installments.

If I had to use one word to summarize the entire episode, it would be “insane”. Characters may seem very unlike their usual selves due to the events that transpired in the previous episode, and their plot relevance absolutely skyrockets. Between scenes, the tone can shift from complete 180s at any given moment. You could be crying tears of laughter in one scene, and then feel sad and resonate deeply with a character in another scene. While some may consider this style to inconsistent or unprofessional, it seems more like a brilliant inclusion that makes the episode seem much more unpredictable.

Keeping up with the “insane” record, I’d like to mention some specific scenes. Consider this the SPOILER WARNING disclaimer. If you want an arbitrary review score, 10/10 easily. I know I don’t usually include a SPOILER section in my reviews, but this episode more than warranted an exceptions. I am going to include many lines to ensure those who don’t want SPOILERS leave RIGHT NOW.

First, this episode was incredibly disturbing from the presence of Aygul, who traumatized over the death of her husband and the realization of her brother’s killer. Every single one of the scenes featuring her never ceased to perturb me. Sofia became a genuine threat again, and the Mongols have a much greater motive to tangle with Osman now. The scenes that show Siddiq/Salvador and Goktug/Kongar were either captivating, intense, and/or heartwarming. The introduction of Hazal Hatun was handled quite nicely, and each one of her scenes better flesh out her personality and character traits.

Lastly, every scene that showed moments of the Kayi marriage of Osman Bey and Bala Hatin were simple put, incredible. Each tradition in the marriage were unique to this episode. The song prior to the meal may have actually become the best song of the series and Ertugrul combined. Dundar Bey’s retrospective scenes were very emotionally inducing and remorseful. However, the cherry on top of the sundae on the roller coaster of an ending had to go to the meal scene. The tension felt by the characters from the (unknowningly) poisoned meat by Zohre Hatun was top-notch. Hazel Hatun’s deduction, exposure of Zohre Hatun’s betrayal, and the death of Zohre Hatun made a scene that intense, fulfilling, and insane at the same time.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves this show. A definite watch that may require a re-watch or two time and time again.
