Back in Istanbul, the Sultan’s brother, Prince Sabahaddin, continues his political maneuvering by meeting with the Young Turks and offering his support for their cause. However, his actions do not go unnoticed by the Sultan’s loyalists, who report his activities to Abdul Hamid II.
In a dramatic scene, the Sultan confronts his brother and accuses him of treachery. Prince Sabahaddin, in turn, accuses the Sultan of being a tyrant and warns him that his actions will lead to his downfall. The two brothers part ways, with the future of the Ottoman Empire hanging in the balance.
The episode concludes with the Sultan receiving news that Kiamil Pasha has returned to Istanbul. However, the Sultan remains cautious and orders his intelligence chief to keep a close eye on the former minister’s movements.
